Member-only story
Recognising that this stage of life is temporary might be difficult.
There’s a reason why we are here in the moment.
Think of yourself as the main character of your own life.
The main character in your own story is you.
Though it’s inevitable, comparing yourself to others can be the worst thing to do. There’s people my age who are married, have kids and appear to have their life “together.” It’s important to understand that everyone is on an individual journey and having nothing “figured out” is completely normal.
The right moment will come for you to fulfil your goals of getting married, finding that job and becoming successful.
You are meant to be exactly where you are right now.
Wanting More Out Of Life
It seems absurd to limit yourself to a single career for the rest of your life.
I find it ridiculous that we chose our paths at age 16. I love psychology, but I also love to write, read and photography. I have a lot of interests. I also love charity, I would LOVE to work in humanitarianism, that’s my dream. I mentioned how much I adore Audrey Hepburn in my last post, she’s my inspiration. I want to be half as kind and generous as she was.
