As life gets busier, many of us end up leading highly stressful lives. The rapid pace of life in modern times means that we are constantly juggling multiple responsibilities such as careers, family life and personal hobbies. This level of stress can lead a person to a state of insanity, both physically and mentally. Unfortunately, we may often overlook this emotional unraveling, simply because it is something we are used to dealing with.
In the first place, when we multitask things without setting priorities, it’s like we’re constantly playing catch up, rather than enjoying the present moment. This can cause our brain to become cluttered with information, making it more difficult to focus. By taking things one step at a time instead of overwhelming ourselves with multiple tasks at once, we can prevent our levels of self-doubt and frustration from escalating.
Secondly, social media has become a significant negative trigger for many people, and although it can be fun, it can also become addictive. Social media addiction can prevent us from living in the present moment and can often lead to feelings of envy, self-doubt, and insecurity. These feelings make us unhappy, and we begin to question our own self-worth and value.
