I’ve been an active writer on here since May and I’d want to express my gratitude for its user-friendliness and the dynamic feeling of community it promotes. My experience with Vocal, on the other hand, has left me slightly unhappy.
Despite my best attempts, it appears that a lack of contact among users persists and although I recognise that an upgraded account might improve the experience, the lack of a true feeling of community is discouraging. In contrast to Medium’s warm and engaging environment, Vocal appears to be missing in this regard.
I’m grateful for the opportunity Medium has given me and I genuinely hope that Vocal will grow into a more open and engaged community for its users.
