Everyone has heard the saying, “If it’s meant to be, it will be,” but you can’t fully appreciate its effect until you’ve experienced it yourself. It’s funny how life works itself out, sometimes in ways we couldn’t have imagined. The truth is that when something is meant to happen, it will find its way into your life at the right time and in the right way. We tend to spend a lot of time worrying about the “how” and “when.”
This is a lesson I recently learnt first-hand.
Making a seemingly insignificant choice, such as following someone on social media or jokingly commenting about a significant life change, can result in relationships that transform everything. When those relationships are intended to be, they feel effortless and natural, as though they were always supposed to be there, even if you weren’t expecting them.
I used to believe that everything in life needed to be carefully planned, but this year has taught me just how important it is to have trust in life’s timeline. The most memorable experiences in life may come from the most unlikely places and happen when we least expect them to. It will happen if it is meant to be, and that is something to hold on to. The perfect people and experiences often appear at the proper time in life, surprising us.
