Member-only story
I really wanted to write last night, but anxiety hit me strong and made me physically unwell. Life is strange, isn’t it? It’s as if your brain decides to create non-exsistent drama.
I’m coming to believe that the mind plays an important role in facing challenges in life. Yes, physical health is important, but mental health is also important. I try not to think about the worst-case scenarios and blame it all on anxiety, but my premonitions are frighteningly true.
I’ve often wondered what it’s like to live without the constant noise of anxiety. The thought of a calm and peaceful life seems wonderful, but let’s face it, actual life never plays out like that.
Having a consistent sleep routine is my go-to method.
My habit for a calm night is to get into bed before 9 PM, sip some chamomile tea, let in some fresh night air through the window and snuggle up with a hot water bottle.
I just got home from work, it’s 7PM and I’m about to relax for the night. I’m sending you all the love and healing.
Have a lovely weekend.
How do you deal with anxiety?
